About NKP
nKP Coverage Map
Starting in 2008, NKP will establish a Super Specialty Center for AIDS Care in Kathmandu. This 50-bed facility will provide residential care and advanced treatment services to over 600 people annually. The Super Specialty Center will serve as a national hub for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) with complex and multiple AIDS-related illnesses. It will also feature a telemedicine facility, allowing patients in remote villages to consult with specialist doctors via video conferencing. The NKP headquarters will also be located within this center's premises. In addition to the Kathmandu center, NKP will continue operating its care centers (represented as Green Dots on the coverage map) and expand its Information, Counseling, and ART Referral Centers (Red Dots). By the end of 2009, NKP aims to extend its services to all 75 districts of Nepal, building on its current reach of 26 districts.
